Pascal Dévaud was born in 1972. He obtained his law degree from the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) in 1997 and graduated with an L.L.M. from the Georgetown University Law Center (Washington D.C.) in 2001. He was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2000, and to the New York Bar in 2002.
Between 2001 and 2019, Pascal Devaud practiced at two well-established Swiss law firms, as an associate and as partner. He is a founding partner of Eardley Attorneys.
Pascal Devaud provides assistance in commercial and financial matters before state courts, arbitral tribunals (both as counsel or arbitrator, in commercial and investment arbitration) and FINMA, the Swiss financial supervisory authority.
His litigation experience and advisory services in the financial area also extend to international mutual assistance in criminal and tax matters. Pascal Devaud’s civil and common law education has enabled him to develop a particular expertise in international regulations applicable to a financial activity in Switzerland.
He offers assistance to business entities, including in the areas of employment and mergers and acquisitions (printing and food industries, medical services, energy, finance, technology, wealth management), often in collaboration with international Anglo-Saxon and Asian firms. Pascal Devaud also serves as member of boards of directors.

Pascal Dévaud is admitted in New York State, and a member of the Geneva Bar Association, of the Swiss Bar Association and of the Swiss Arbitration Association.
